KVPF Font is a typeface for the museum Kunstverein Pforzheim. The art association commissioned a new visual identity with a unique typographic language that can be applied in flexible ways. The result is a display typeface that is based on their previous corporate font, Centennial by Adrian Frutiger, that is still in use for body text. For the display version Centennial’s traditional shapes are combined with decorative and disruptive elements derived from the museum’s environment, its artworks and related contexts. KVPF Font is growing with every exhibition, documenting the museum’s activities over time on a purely typographic level. (Stefanie Schwarz, since 2025)
