The printing/coding experiment investigates the correlation of analogue and digital techniques. Starting point was a series of various wood letter prints, which were digitalized and converted into vectors to use them for coding. The written code translates the complexity and variety of an analogue print into the digital realm. The final interactive applications allow different views of the letters. These were then used for the design of a poster that announced a discussion about the meaning of letterpress in the digital age. (Stefanie Schwarz, 2013)
