Based on Greogor Mendel’s theory of genetics the type system AF Generation investigates how characteristics can be transferred from one style to the next. The font family was generated first with the Multiple Master system that provided for the transitions mathematically. (Dirk Wachowiak, 2001) In 2002 AF Generation was released by Acme Fonts and is available at www.type.co.uk
